ELEMENTARY PROGRAM

Students in our elementary program, experience learning in a nurturing, safe, traditional classroom environment, with each day beginning with pledges and prayers. Students are encapsulated in a single classroom setting by grade, with currently only one classroom per grade level.

The goal of the elementary program is to create competent learners who have the tools for higher-level thought.  Consequently, during the elementary years, students work to master core knowledge in Bible, math facts and rules, grammar rules, reading, spelling, science, and history. These mastered competencies can then be used to facilitate the working memory requirements of innovative thought to create independent learners and thinkers.

In addition to the classroom, we offer daily enrichment activities, including, chapel, physical education, computer, library, music, and art.  Our elementary students participate in two musical productions every year, a Christmas and spring play, which are both attended by hundreds from our community.
