Welcome

Kevin Wood - Superintendent

Dear Parents,

Portrait of Temple Academy Superindtendent Kevin Wood.Thank you for your interest in Temple Academy. We are honored to be considered for the educational needs of your family. We have been educating students in Central Maine for over 40 years, doing so through a traditional style of education, with curriculum and instruction grounded in a thoroughly Christian, Biblical worldview. We are accredited through the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and are an MPA, Class D school. A small student body of around 180 students from grades K4 through 12, enables our faculty and staff to interact closely with each student, guiding them through our rigorous academic program, equipping them for the next step on their journey.

Our school is set apart not only for our academic excellence, but also for our genuine interest in working with students to discover and develop the unique gifting and calling on their lives. Parents, students, and alumni continually comment on the uniquely warm, caring, and positive atmosphere that greets everyone walking through our doors. Parents find great comfort in knowing their children are immersed in such an environment every day.

Students are also able to explore and discover their interests through athletics, community outreach events, student council, worship team and other activities available to them while here. They are part of a school family where the values and interests taught at home are reinforced at school, through strong partnerships between parents and staff, giving the students a solid foundation to carry with them beyond their years at Temple Academy.

The landscape of our world is ever changing, and at times can seem a bit precarious, and education is certainly not immune to those changes. Parents choosing Temple Academy will find consistency and stability in our programs, our curriculum, our vision, and style of education. We have remained steadfast in our pursuit of making a traditional, quality education, where traditional values are taught, morning pledges recited, and upstanding moral character expected, available and affordable to families throughout Central Maine.

Take the next step and contact us today for more information about admission and enrollment. Your child will join a unique school family that will challenge and encourage them on their educational journey.

Sincerely,

Kevin J. Wood

Superintendent
