September 10, 2025 The Temple Academy Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Superintendent Kevin Wood, who will return to his career in the manufacturing industry after much prayerful consideration and counsel. Mr. Wood took on the role of Temple Academy Superintendent in 2018. With his leadership and guidance, the school has thrived. “During Mr. Wood’s tenure, Temple became an independent, nondenominational Christian school with nonprofit status, achieved reaccreditation, took ownership of its campus, and experienced a surge in applications and enrollment. His efforts have positioned us for a strong beginning to its second half century,” remarked Nick Isgro, President of the Temple Academy Board of Directors. Reflecting on his seven years of service to Temple Academy, Mr. Wood expressed gratitude for his time at the school. “I am proud of what we accomplished during my time here and thankful to be part of the Berean family. Our students, families, teachers, staff, volunteers, and donors are what make Temple Academy such a special place, and why my heart and prayers will remain here.” Mr. Wood has graciously offered to remain through the end of the month to help ease the transition of his responsibilities. The Board of Directors are working to determine next steps, including assessing our current leadership plan and formulating a model that will serve the school for decades to come.
