Thank you for your interest in Temple Academy!
You face few decisions as monumental as choosing where your child will attend school, and we are honored that you are considering our school.
As central Maine’s only independent, accredited, faith-based school, our mission is to educate students academically, socially, and spiritually from a classical, non-denominational Christian worldview. In partnership with parents and churches, we seek to develop in our students the same virtues of the Biblical Bereans—nobleness of character, eagerness to learn, open-mindedness, and desire to seek the truth. Our ultimate aim is to develop in every student the intellectual skills and moral character that are necessary to lead a life of Christian virtue, honor, and service to others.
Temple Academy is not affiliated with any one church, which allows us to embrace students of all denominations. In fact, our families, staff, and school board represent more than one dozen local churches. This interdenominational culture allows us to focus on what unites us as the family of Christ, rather than the doctrinal distinctions that may sometimes divide us.
With several quality school options in our area, we realize that Temple Academy may not be the best fit for everyone. We encourage you to thoughtfully consider what is best for your child and your family as you make your decision.
If you have any questions about our school or the application process, please feel free to contact me at scott.corey@templeacademy.org or (207) 873-5325.
Sincerely,
Scott Corey
Principal
